Katie had a better night last night (Monday night) than the night before. I asked her to start ranking her days by how itchy or otherwise bad she feels on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being best ever & 1 being worst ever. The night before last was a 3. That was the night that I only got 2 hours of sleep. Last night was a 7, so much better, for which we are thankful! The bag of her legs were pretty raw today though from the recent itchfest.

Today we went to the park to have a last park playdate with some friends who are moving away soon. A lot of our friends were there and we had a good time, but we will miss our friends terribly when they move. :(

After that, I took my son to his swimming lesson, and the girls were invited to swim also. Our friend who teaches the lessons has a saltwater pool, which she says is good for the skin. Katie was able to get in the water and she said it only stung for just a little, and then it felt good. She is looking forward to going swimming again tomorrow if the weather holds out.

Earlier this evening, we took dinner to a friend who had a baby recently, and Katie and I were both privileged to hold a three-week-old precious baby boy. We are fervently hoping & praying that Katie's skin will one day be that smooth again. :)
Also, Katie was super excited when we got our order for homemade balms from the Etsy Shop The Home Apothecary. We ordered the Lemongrass Balm and the Shea Balm. These wonderful balms were created by a mom who has dealt with TSW with her own child, and they are all natural.

We applied the Lemongrass Balm instead of the petroleum jelly tonight and we will see how Katie feels in the morning. We hope it works as wonderfully as it smells. :)
One last note, we bought some white, mostly cotton men's socks today and Katie cut them to fit her arms & legs. We are going to try this tonight instead of the gauze & see how it works. I already ordered a bulk order of gauze rolls & tape from amazon, so if she doesn't end up needed to use the gauze anymore, we will just be stocked up for life, LOL! She actually prefers the Walgreen's brand gauze as it is smoother, but of course I didn't find this out until I already ordered my bulk rolls. ;)

If you are keeping up with our blog, we are so thankful for you, and hope you will add us to your prayers.
If you have a TSW blog & would like to be added to our new blog roll, please send me the link!
Have a blessed night!
